DropFTP is a small and easy-to-use AppleScript droplet that uses Anarchie Pro FTP client to transfer files in the right locations on a remote FTP server. You only have to specify the root folder on your Mac and the root directory on the server. Then you just drag-and-drop files on DropFTP's icon and the script transfers the files to the right sub-directories.

  20. Installing DropFTP
  21. DropFTP uses Dialog Director scripting addition to provide its user interface. Dialog Director should be installed in the Scripting Additions folder, inside your System Folder. If you want to be able to import Mac OS 8.5 link clippings, Resource Utilities should be installed in the same folder.

  29. • Make copies of DropFTP to create droplets for different FTP settings.
  30. • FinderPop and DropFTP are an unbeatable pair. Go to http://www.finderpop.com/ and make the contextual menus alive!

  40. • Drag-and-dropping folders causes inconveniences. However, you can select multiple files in different folders and drag them all at the same time (as in the picture above).
  41. • If you set up the same local folder to many sets, DropFTP will only use the first one in the settings list.
